CONCESSIONS AT THE

TANANA VALLEY STATE FAIR

The Tanana Valley State Fair presents fairgoers with a variety of exciting and tempting Concessions.  Approximately 300 Concessionaires participate in the Fair every year.

Commercial Concessionaires offer a variety of goods and services, including supplies for household and home improvement, electronic and communication devices, recreational vehicles, spas and saunas, artwork, clothing and jewelry, toys and novelties, custom made graphics, financial advice, automobiles, and more.

Many Nonprofit groups highlight their contributions to the Fairbanks community, including education, political, religious, military, and community service groups.

In addition to the great rides and games Golden Wheel Amusements brings to the Fair, we are looking forward to the return of Grizzly Grand Prix, Alaskan Ponies, Thrills Unlimited's "ejection seat," Ton of Fun Entertainment's climbing wall, and other games and attractions.

The Tanana Valley State Fair presents a unique opportunity for Crafters to display and sell their handcrafted items.  Our Crafters include a number of artists from Alaska and from the Outside, selling woodwork, graphics and books, candles, soaps, photos, jewelry, and clothing.  In our Craft Market Tent, we have new Crafters each day.

Of course, the number one reason people come to the Fair is for the FOOD!  The Tanana Valley State Fair tempts fairgoers with some of the best in Fair food, from the traditional to the exotic.  Forty-five food booths will keep any Fairgoers from going hungry.

Individuals, groups, or businesses interested in applying for Commercial or Nonprofit booth space at the Tanana Valley State Fair should review Lessee Rules and Regulations before filling out the Lease Agreement Application and Rules and Regulations Checklist.  Interested parties need to fill out Page 1 and page 2 of the Lease Agreement Application, the Rules and Regulations Checklist, and the Payment Distirbution Receipt, available at the links below.  Maps of booth spaces also are available.  The Borealis Pavilion is "indoor" space; all other maps represent "outdoor" space.  Payment in full for booth space is required at the time the Lease Agreement Applicatiion is submitted.  Nonprofit groups must include their Nonprofit Tax ID number.  Contact Lynne Hutchison, Concessions Manager, at 907.451.5540, e-mail to lynne@tananavalleyfair.org, or drop by the Fair Office, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM for additional information.
